Nelson’s Horsetail

While Joanna Kidd’s Nature on the Toronto Islands makes only a brief mention of Nelson’s Horsetail (Equisetum X nelsonii) growing in the wet meadow behind Ward’s Island Beach, I found it growing in abundance, and was drawn to its unique appearance and structure.
