Commissioned by Karen Dieleman to celebrate the faith and determination of her husband Adrian.
At age 22, Adrian was involved in a car crash that left him with a spinal cord injury. Each year on May 8th, he and his family reflect on that pivotal moment. In 2009, a celebration marked the passage of another 22 years: highlighting one half-lifetime and more spent in a wheelchair. This mixed media collage highlights Adrian’s positive attitude, achievements in wheelchair tennis, and reliance on God for grace and strength.
