Roofing rails, stuck on a bar magnet.
When the church community came out to help my parents install a new roof, I discovered this ingenious magnet on wheels, which picked up all the old nails that had been tossed into the surrounding yard. Their arrangement on the cold metal reminds me of how rigid people look when they are sitting in church. But the way some of them are bent and carry baggage… well it rehumanizes them a bit, don’t you think?
